Hi there guys its been a long time seen the photo galleries of my mates that i played with whilst i was in England. The name is Andrew Kariuki from Nairobi,Kenya i left there to pursue my masters in the states but have never got back to visit. Those funday photos put alot of fun memories of the boys on and off the pitch.I dont know if you guys can remember me was there Dan the scrumy,Mick ‘the salmon’ ,Adam the hooker, Daniel ginty. I left in feb of 2001. New boys in the club doing a great job.Am now based back home in Nairobi.Nice one boys……

Ed, sorry for that late reply, been a hectic week. Of course there is room for you, we’re a more the merrier club If you fancy popping down to training tonight at Welwyn Rugby Club, that;d be cool. Or Tuesday at the Hatfield UNI, it’s a really easy session we do then, and ideal for getting started. Adam

I’m afraid not. It’s certainly something we will be looking into in the future, but at the moment we don’t have the infrastructure. Welwyn right club does offer this facility though. Hope you find a club, and don’t forget to come back to Hatfield when you’re 17

Hatfield Rugby club was created by members from De Havilland Rugby Club ex of British Aerospace Hatfield? It was formed because of a dispute in using British Aerospace social club. It was was formed in 1990. Originally there were several club members who put in 100 pounds each to form the founders to buy kit etc etc their photo was for many years on the wall above the bar at Roe Hill hall. Robin Nicholson and Chris Henshaw were founder members together with Hugh Lacy, Ian Roberts David Cresswell, Dave Smith, Russ Williams, Derek Laidlaw, David Buckley to name but a few.

Just wondering if training is still on Tuesdays at 7.15 ?
Got my college stuff sorted, Colts been going ok, played with biggleswade a bit aswell as the College team.
